The Student Guild at Griffith University has an accommodation service for students.

There are many different types of living arrangements.

Rental Accommodation.
(Eg. House, Townhouse/Villa, Flats, Granny Flats/Flatette, Duplex)
Renting a property usually involves applying to the property owner (the lessor) through a real estate agent to establish a rental tenancy agreement. Once the application is accepted, the tenant  and the real estate agent finalise the Tenancy Agreement. The type of dwelling and the specific details of a rental agreement may vary depending on the owner and the real estate agent. The rental agreement lists all your responsibilities, so it is important to read and understand exactly what it says.

Share Accommodation

Student Hostels/Boarding houses
In a boarding house  you usually rent a bedroom and share a bathroom, kitchen, laundry and lounge room. Some provide meals, however, places with meals tend to cost more. This type of accommodation is often a good way to meet other students.

Student Built Accommodation
There are 4 student built complexes close to Griffith University. These are privately owned and operated but have been built for the  Gold Coast  campus..
These are all 3 bedroom (with each bedroom having an ensuite) apartments with a shared kitchen and lounge area.
They are all fully furnished and fully self contained with pools and in some cases Gym and Bus access.
Rent is from $185 per week.
