AIRPORT RECEPTION
Airport reception is a free of charge service for all commencing international students only.
The Airport Reception is a service, which ensures that a student is met at the airport and transferred to their chosen accommodation. You can download the Airport Reception form at the bottom of the page on The Student Guild Website under accommodation/international KOM Students. This form must be received no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival and during office hours Mon-Fri 9am-4pm.

TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION
The Student Guild offers Temporary accommodation at a variety of Motels/Backpackers and the rates range from $30 per night to $88 per night. Students are required to pay for this accommodation themselves.
We also offer an Off-Campus accommodation service. With hundreds of houses, units and resorts all close to Griffith University we are sure you’ll find a suitable place to live. Whether you’re looking for a share house or unit to live in the accommodation service is here to help. Students, Staff and the General community list vacancies which leaves a great range of Houses, Flats and High-rises for you to choose from.
Currently students pay between $150 and $200 for private board [which includes 3 meals a day] and from $110 upwards for a room in a house or unit sharing with other students or members of the community.
Rent is more expensive in areas surrounding and including Surfers Paradise. Most of these units are on the beach in the heart of the Gold Coast and usually with resort style facilities. The rent is around $180 for a room in a shared apartment and from $350 for a 2 bedroom fully furnished unit.
