EVENT SUPPOrt

Event Support volunteers assist in activating on-campus events which enhance social connection and campus culture. This is a great platform to develop leadership skills, improve communication and receive experience through a diverse range of events.

Event Support volunteers will have the chance to make a great network of new friends while helping the student community. In addition to fantastic experience for your resume, students may also be able to credit volunteering toward Work Integrated Learning hours.

What are the requirements?

Undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled on the Gold Coast campus may register. The time commitment is flexible and may vary from high to low however the minimum requirements are:

  • An interest in remaining actively engaged for the duration of the academic year
  • Completion of compulsory health and safety training
  • Attendance at volunteer training and induction
